Bye bye creaming: Sprayable sun care concept

For many consumers, when it comes to sun protection, it’s all a question of finding the right balance. On the one hand, they want a product with high UV protection. On the other, they also want it to spread easily and absorb quickly leaving a light, nice feeling on the skin. Our Sprayable Sun Care Concept offers the right balance.

Thanks to our P.I.T. (Phase Inversion Temperature) technology, we are able to produce water-thin, sprayable emulsions. The oil-in-water emulsions measure just 100 – 300 nanometers, are of very low viscosity and can thus be applied by spraying. A further key ingredient for sun care is Cetiol^® CC, a fast and easy spreading emollient that creates a dry, velvety feeling on the skin.

It is particularly suitable for state-of-the-art sun protection applications because of its outstanding solubilizing capacity for crystalline UV filters as well as its dispersing properties for pigments.
